Privacy policy
Effective September 23, 2026. Jacob Local Mail Agent is a private tool operated by Jacob Rigoli for mailboxes whose owners or administrators have authorized access.
Data accessed and use
With Gmail authorization, the tool can access message headers, bodies, attachments, labels, and mailbox metadata. It uses that data only to carry out the requested mail work: identity checks, searches, reading and summaries, drafts, approved sends, and archiving. It does not use Google user data for advertising or sell it.
Where data goes
The Gmail broker runs locally on Jacob's Mac. When a Codex task requests mail information, the selected information is returned to that Codex task for processing. Message content included in Codex conversations may then be retained under the settings and policies governing that Codex account. The broker does not operate a separate cloud mail archive.
Credentials and retention
OAuth client information and refresh credentials are stored in owner-only files on Jacob's Mac, outside his project files. The broker keeps credentials until they are deleted locally or access is revoked. The broker does not intentionally save message bodies or attachments between requests. Google and Codex may retain information under their own policies.
Control and contact
An account owner can revoke the app's access in their Google Account, and a Workspace administrator can remove delegated access. To ask about data or local credential deletion, contact jarigoli@gmail.com.
